Make East Pennsboro Affordable Again
01
No more township tax or fee increases
Making East Pennsboro Township more affordable is a top priority. On Day 1, we will reopen the budget, look for savings to reduce costs, and not only hold the line on taxes and fees—but cut them if possible.
02
Oppose plans for an unnecessary, taxpayer-costly multi-million-dollar township building
We are committed to stopping the unnecessary plan for a new multi-million-dollar township building that would burden taxpayers. The current building is fully functional, easily accessible, has ample parking, and houses all essential township departments, the tax collector’s office, the senior citizen center, and sits next to the District Judge’s office. There is no need to spend millions just to expand bureaucracy.
03
Transparency
We will make township government more open and accessible. This includes livestreaming commissioner meetings and archiving them so residents can watch anytime. We will also remove unnecessary restrictions on public input so citizens are welcomed and heard. It’s time to “tear down the wall” and restore open access for residents to conduct business without barriers.
04
Accountability
We will ensure township staff are responsive and helpful, and we will work to speed up permit approvals. We will also champion a township tax break for volunteer firefighters to strengthen recruitment and retention—a benefit many surrounding municipalities already provide.
Meet the Candidates

A Proven Record of Fiscal Responsibility & Community Investment
Under a previous Democratic majority on the East Pennsboro Board of Commissioners, there was consistent fiscal discipline — township taxes were not increased for 32 of 36 years.
During that time, the township made lasting investments that continue to benefit residents today:
-
Expanded Adams-Ricci Park and added new parks throughout the township
-
Eliminated dangerous S-curves with the construction of East Penn Drive
-
Renovated the historic Enola High School into the current township building
-
Built a new public works facility
-
Expanded and improved township services
-
Increased support for emergency services
-
Paved 3–5 miles of township roads annually
-
Reconstructed many township roads to improve infrastructure and safety
This history of responsible leadership shows what’s possible when fiscal discipline is paired with smart community investment.
